On 9 February 2016, amongst other changes, a new Article 27/A was added to the Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") Regulation (the "Regulation") stating that a further communiqué on the principles and procedures applicable to capacity increases and/or expansion of projects with an "EIA positive" or "EIA not required" decision would be published. On 8 June 2016 the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning of Turkey (the "Ministry") issued this communiqué (the "Communiqué").
